Orders for Compact Discs and any other products fulfilled directly by Unhinged Records are handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We use the information provided during checkout only as reasonably necessary to process the order, receive payment, package and dispatch the product and provide associated customer service.
Printful Fulfilment
Some products, including certain print-on-demand merchandise, may be manufactured and fulfilled on our behalf by Printful.
Where Printful is responsible for fulfilling an order, information necessary to manufacture and deliver that order may be provided to Printful. This can include information such as your:

Details of the product ordered.
This information is shared only where necessary for the fulfilment of your order.
Printful acts as a third-party fulfilment service and processes customer information in connection with the services it provides to us. Printful also maintains its own privacy policies and data-processing practices.
Printful’s handling, storage and retention of information may differ from that of Unhinged Records. Information held by Printful is therefore also subject to Printful’s applicable privacy and data-processing terms.
Deletion of information from the Unhinged Records website does not necessarily result in the deletion of information independently retained by Printful in accordance with its own policies or legal obligations.
Payment Processing – PayPal
Payments made through our online shop are processed by PayPal.
When you make a payment, the information required to complete that payment is processed by PayPal in accordance with PayPal’s own Privacy Statement and data-protection practices.
Unhinged Records does not receive or store your full debit card, credit card or bank account details when payment is handled by PayPal.
We may receive information from PayPal confirming the transaction, such as:
Your name;
Email address;
Delivery information where applicable;
Transaction reference;
Payment status; and
Amount paid.
This information is used to confirm and fulfil your order and to deal with refunds, disputes or other issues relating to the transaction.
PayPal operates as an independent data controller for the personal information it processes through its payment services. Its own privacy policy therefore applies to its handling and retention of your payment information.
Deletion of an order from the Unhinged Records website does not delete information which PayPal is independently required or permitted to retain.
How Long We Keep Shopping Information
Personal information stored within the Unhinged Records website’s e-commerce system in connection with an online order is normally retained for 14 days after the order has been completed, after which it is scheduled for automatic deletion.
This short retention period allows us to deal with immediate customer-service issues such as:
Items not received;
Incorrect orders;
Defective or damaged products;
Returns;
Replacements; and
Refund requests.
Where an active enquiry, dispute, return, refund or other problem remains unresolved at the end of this period, relevant information may be retained until the matter has been resolved.
We may also retain limited information for longer where this is reasonably necessary to comply with accounting, taxation, fraud-prevention or other legal obligations, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
The 14-day deletion period relates to information stored within our own website systems. Printful, PayPal and other service providers may retain information for different periods in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
How Long We Keep Contact Form Information
Information received through contact forms or direct correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Correspondence may be retained while an enquiry remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards where it may be necessary for reference, administrative, security or legal purposes.
Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised where reasonably practicable.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Information may be shared with service providers where necessary to operate the website, communicate with you or fulfil an order. These may include:

Payment providers, including PayPal;
Product fulfilment providers, including Printful;
Delivery and postal services; and
Other technical service providers acting on our behalf.
Only information reasonably necessary for the relevant service will be provided.
We may also disclose information where required to do so by law, regulation, court order or another lawful authority.
International Data Transfers
Some service providers used by our website, including payment, hosting or fulfilment providers, may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards will be used where required under UK data protection law.
Individual third-party providers may also operate their own international data-processing arrangements, which are explained in their respective privacy policies.

Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant correspondence or order.
We will consider your request in accordance with applicable data-protection law. In some circumstances we may need to retain certain information despite a request for deletion, for example where we have a legal obligation or another lawful reason to retain it.
Requests made to Unhinged Records do not necessarily result in deletion of information independently held by third parties such as PayPal or Printful. You may need to contact those organisations separately in relation to information they control.
Automated Decision-Making
Information submitted through our website is not used by Unhinged Records to make solely automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Third-party payment or fraud-prevention providers may operate automated systems as part of their services. Their respective privacy policies provide further information about those activities.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
However, no website, email system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
